Volume 39 Issue 2 March 2015 of the Cambridge Journal of Economics is a special issue: Equal Pay as a Moving Target: International perspectives on forty-years of addressing the gender pay gap.
It includes the open access article: Are litigation and collective bargaining complements or substitutes for achieving gender equality? A study of the British Equal Pay Act by Simon Deakin, Sarah Fraser Butlin, Colm McLaughlin, and Aleksandra Polanska.
The special issue was guest edited by Prof Jacqueline O’Reilly, University of Brighton Business School (CROME), together with Prof Mark Smith, Grenoble École de Management, Prof Simon Deakin and Dr Brendan Burchell, both from the University of Cambridge.
It was launched at a panel event in collaboration with the Equality and Diversity Forum Research Network on 9 March 2015 to celebrate International Women’s Day.

- Duncan Brown Principal, Aon Hewitt Consulting: Performance, Reward & Talent. He was Assistant Director General at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and was Director of Performance and Rewards at the Institute for Employment Studies.
- Prof. Hazel Conley the UK Principal Investigator on a EU DG Justice funded project on the gender pay gap in Europe; she is co-editor (with Tessa Wright) of The Gower Handbook of Discrimination at Work and co-author (with Margaret Page) of Gender Equality in Public Services: Chasing the Dream (Routledge).
