‘My Choices: A vision for self-directed support’ is an action research report written by Dr Sally Witcher in co-production with participants.
‘Off Balance: parents of disabled children and paid work’ was published by Working Families in January 2015.
‘Monitoring the Implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The UK Independent mechanism list of issues interim report’ was published in December 2014.
‘The right to political participation of persons with disabilities – Summary’ was published by the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) in 2014.
The second report of the Work and Pensions Committee on ‘Improving Access to Work for disabled people Access to Work for disabled people’ was published in December 2014.
This report was published as part of an initiative to increase awareness within the European Union for the need to collect reliable data for groups at risk of discrimination.
On 18 October 2014, the Office of the Children’s Commissioner published ‘”They still need to listen more” A report about disabled children and young people’s rights in England’.
In September 2014 the Government published updates on its disability strategy and documents showing the progress that has been made.
‘Disability: A Research Study on Unconscious Bias’ was published in July 2014 by the Employers Network for Equality & Inclusion.
