UK Youth Parliament
The UKYP aims to give the young people of the UK between the ages of 11 and 18 a voice, which will be heard and listened to by local and national government, providers of services for young people and other agencies that have an interest in the views and needs of young people.
Unemployment Relief operates a frontline service which is responding to increasing needs of unemployed and economically inactive people aged 25-65, often in possession of fewer resources. The organisation aims to help these people remain motivated and creative. They do this by working voluntarily to help change the UK through advocacy and support. Their goal is to ensure people are equipped with the core principles of personalization, champion the values of empowerment/service user control and assess how well these programs address these needs.
